Judge at the Provincial Court of Las Palmas (Family Section). She is the first woman elected in Spain as a member of the Governing Chamber of a High Court of Justice (Canary Islands). Professional career focused on Human Rights, Family Law, and Mediation.
Founding Partner of AIJUDEFA, representing the organization at the fifth meeting of the Special Commission of The Hague Conference on the Adoption Convention.
Vice President of International Relations of the European Group of Magistrates for Mediation in Spain and European President of GEMME for two terms.
University expert in Family Law. Certified in Mediation and Psychology applied to childhood and adolescence, among other competencies. She has completed training stays at the European Court of Human Rights, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and the German Judicial School, and has participated in civil judicial cooperation programs organized by the European Judicial Training Network in France and Bulgaria.
Member of the editorial board of the legal journal SEPIN Familia and the International Advisory Committee of the Ibero-American Journal of Therapeutic Justice.
She combines her judicial work with numerous teaching collaborations at various institutions and forums, both national and international (Argentina, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay), with the direction of legal seminars, and with publications in specialized legal journals as well as in collective works.
Co-director of four International Congresses on Mediation and the radio program "Hablando se entiende la gente" ("Talking Makes People Understand Each Other") for two seasons.
She regularly collaborates with public institutions in programs related to the well-being of children and adolescents.
